This blog will deal with René Magritte, who is one of my favourite painters. I really enjoy his work since it makes us raise questions. I often wonder how the pictures he painted came into his mind. He must have been a big dreamer.
First, I will shortly talk about his life and the importance of his work in the surrealist painting.
Then, I will tell you about the museums where his work is shown : the museum Place Royale in Brussels and the house where he lived with his wife, in Brussels too. We will see that this house inspired him a lot to create : the red curtains, the window are often depicted in his paintings.
Finally, I will tell you more about my "relationship" with René Magritte.
